Security in the modern enterprise networkUSP Network Authentication System® permits central enforcement of network access policies for wired and wireless accesses. This gives you transparency and continuous traceability of all internal and external devices active and not active on the network. All devices connected to the network (LAN or WLAN) are automatically assigned to the correct network segment thanks to automatic policy enforcement (device type, user, endpoint compliance). |
Staff using a company device
Staff devices automatically authenticate themselves on connection to the WLAN controller by means of a certificate stored on the end device.
Depending on the network policy, they are then automatically granted access to the operational working environment and the Internet.
Staff using a personal device
Staff are taken to the captive portal when they connect to the WLAN with their personal device. There they can register their device and authenticate themselves with their Active Directory user account. Depending on the network policy, they are then automatically granted access to selected network resources (e.g. printers) and the Internet.
Guest and visitor devices
Guests and visitors are taken to the captive portal when they connect to the WLAN with their device. There they can register themselves and log in for time-limited Internet use by means of a text message or voucher.
