United Security Providers extends partnership
United Security Providers, the Swiss specialist for network and application security extends their partnership with nCipher Corporation Ltd. for Hardware Security Modules (HSM) from reseller to distributor status for Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
The extension of the partnership enables United Security Providers to compliment the offering of highly-secure solutions for channel partners and supports the indirect distribution strategy of the company.
nCipher’s FIPS validated Hardware Security Modules ensure the protection, management and secure use of cryptographic keys. They are used for a host of commercial and custom-built business applications, for instance for the management of digital signatures in a company-wide security infrastructure. Through the deployment of HSM modules, using encryption technologies such as SSL or PKI, the secrecy and identity of data, documents and credentials is ensured during the allocation to employees, business partners and devices, thus also complying with legal regulations.
Hardware Security Modules by nCipher ideally supplement United Security Providers’ offering for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and web application security. IAM enables companies to achieve a consistent and consolidated view on user identities and access rights and therefore ensure the secure access to company data. Increased attacks against web applications have heightened awareness for enforced security mechanisms for web applications.
